Kisnard Online is a free to play, 2D fantasy/medieval pixel art mmorpg!  Kisnard online was inspired by Dransik, Ashen Empire, Runescape, and Ultima Online.  Adventure on quests, explore the huge world, specialize in various tradeskills, slay mythical monsters, team up to fight bosses, interact with many npcs, grow powerful in level and name, loot rare treasures, duel other players in live pvp, and much much more.  Kisnard Online is constantly being improved with new content and features.  All game related info will be posted here and on Discord.  Come join us in game!

Gameplay Changes

  • Lvl 10 and below do not drop backpack or equipment
  • Food now has a 2 second cooldown
  • Potions are now used by doubleclicking, only require overall level, have a cooldown, cost more, and weight more
  • When temp crim your name will be surronded by gray * on the character window
  • Blocking now defends against mele and elemental damage
  • Global chat default on login (until you have to pay gold or gems for global chat)
  • Added elemental blocking to rings: Aqua(Water), Amethyst(Dark), Topaz(Earth), Peridot(Wind), Ruby(Fire), and Pearl(Holy)
  • Made arrows and bolts weight less than 1
  • Ability for items to teleport you places
  • give 1/3 of exp for failed healing with items
  • give 1/4 of exp for failed healing with spells
  • upgrade (x7) diamond chunks to a diamond
  • Wiki Unlocks balancing
  • Weapon/Armor/Item balancing

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed quests with 3+ rewards (i.e. Last Offense).
  • Made walking happen instantly when you press wasd or right click mouse. No more delay.
  • All times are now properly converted from server UTC to local time (i.e. quests, guild, mailbox, etc.
  • Fixed Corrupted Beasts quest
  • Fixed unable to type or buy multiple quantities from shop when temp crim

Mailbox Gifts


I am working on getting donations set up. The next update will also bring the mailbox, to support the donation system, with a proper login system on the website. Thanks to all of you that enticed me into this. Will be happy to have it all done. In addition to the mailbox, there will also be lots of smaller things to polish the game a bit. There will be new font options, quest details updates, the ability to move windows seamlessly, and more.

These updates always get a little bigger than they should be, but they feel really good to get out there.


Policies and Login


Players have been asking me how to get Diamonds. My focus was to build the game first and then worry about a microcurrency, but since I added in goodies to the premium shop people want Diamonds! I have been working on game policies and rules to prepare for accepting real-world donations for Diamonds.

Luckily I found a great website, Contractology, to help me with some of the boilerplate legalese.

The second thing I have been working on, in order to accept donations, is a robust authentication system. Gone are the days of, type your password to change your details. Besides using the login system to change your info and donate, I have plans on the wiki side also. Currently(after the next patch) when you login, it will show links to your characters on the wiki. If looking at your character, while you are logged in, I will add sections to see your bank, backpack, etc. Any other suggestions are welcomed.

I have not even begun working on the donation system on the website or the ingame mailbox system (used to get your purchases). Guess this next update will be rather large too.
