Kisnard Online is a free to play, 2D fantasy/medieval pixel art mmorpg!  Kisnard online was inspired by Dransik, Ashen Empire, Runescape, and Ultima Online.  Adventure on quests, explore the huge world, specialize in various tradeskills, slay mythical monsters, team up to fight bosses, interact with many npcs, grow powerful in level and name, loot rare treasures, duel other players in live pvp, and much much more.  Kisnard Online is constantly being improved with new content and features.  All game related info will be posted here and on Discord.  Come join us in game!

Sound & music


I recorded this teaser video to demo the only 2 sound effects I have recorded so far.  Any help on that front would be greatly appreciated.  Check out the forums, Content(artwork/music/soundfx) Help, if you wish to contribute.  Will be working on more n00b island content and then ALPHA testing!!!

As you can see there are finally guards in the game.  They will protect the town from monsters and eventually evil players.  I worked on securing the game with SSL and now am on to music and sound effects.  Keep in mind the video looks choppy because of FRAPS and real gameplay is much smoother.

New Features

  • Quests and quest interface completed – support for sub tasks, gives, rewards
  • Guilds – add/remove members, transfer guild deed, disband guild, leave guild
  • Screenshot function built in to game
  • Corpses created after death – ability to gather items or loot from other corpses
  • Town guards – holy and criminal type, will attack monsters within range to protect town
  • SITE: random screenshot functionality in left sidebar working
  • SITE: release notes page paginated – 2 versions per page

Gameplay Changes

  • Allow guild members to loot your corpse(with no penalty) – to help regain your stuff

Bug Fixes

  • Too many to list until a more stable code base


Guilds WIP


I have been recently working on a guild system.  The idea is for leaders to be able to create a guild once completing a long line of quests.  As you can see I am also looking to have the ability for guilds to create their own flags.  I am having trouble determining what should be shown on the guild members list besides their overall level.  Any thoughts?  Come speak your mind on the forums – now is the time to shape the game.  More to come…
